At COMDEX in Las Vegas I saw a working S-1 although
there were no languages other than the one built into S-1.
Robert Knight exists. Unlike some of the hype that MSI puts
out, he is quite honest. So far they have S-1 for 68000 only
but claim to be doing code generators for other ship -- read
chips, and I quit when I make the first mistake.

Now look what we done, guys! Jerry posts something informative, but is now
frozen by paranoia! Please keep posting, Jerry, and I (for one) don't mind
if all you're "i's" our knot dotted... :-)

Second the motion! Besides, every time I see Jerry at a con, he's
so thoroughly surrounded there's no longer much chance to talk to
him (or anyone else, by Brownian motion).

Besides, who said that bit about issuing anything with errors being
inexcusable?
... also, the proportion of stuff on the net which appears to be the
product of peristalsis apllied to keys is large anyway -- it wouldn't
do to get TOO sensitive about any one piece.

I agree....The jerk who took you to task, Doc, certainly must have
been on an IBM too long....I'm sure that he'll get better with another
dose of "THE ELECTRONIC CHAOS MANOR".......
