Hmm... I didn't actually see it (even if I were living in America, I
tend to avoid G4TV like the plague), but was he specifically talking
about Ys VI?  If so, the music was fantastic but the English voice
acting is pretty atrocious.  If you're going to go back to the
original games, Ys I and II may be unrivaled in voice acting
excellence, but the Turbo CD version of Ys III in the US had some of
the worst VA I've heard on the system (with the exception of Dragon
Slayer, which I'm convinced was recorded with a casette tape recorder
in a closet by people they dragged off the street and gave five bucks
to read lines).
