Re: TG-CD AC adapter, Just so everyone knows, an AC adapter will put out
more voltage with no load, than with load, i.e. if you just test the
voltage with a multimeter, you will get higher than listed voltage. With a
higher than rated load, the voltage will be lower than listed. Thankfully,
many comsumer devices are rather lenient with voltage requirements....the
critical issue is amperage. This 'trick' will not work with a Sega Genesis,
for example, unless the AC adapter has sufficient amperage.... P.S. try
www.allelectronics.com, for some odd voltage AC adapters, with Mike's trick
they could be used for TG16, etc. with the correct connector...
