[ Is this line necessary? ]

I recently purchased the Total Telecommunications modem package from
(I believe the company is called Telelearning), and was disappointed
with the amount of information supplied specific to the hardware.
They provided plenty of information on how to operate their software
and how to log on to various services, but I was really hoping for
a list of commands that the hardware responded to, specifically
how to make it dial, etc. (I'd like to roll my own terminal program).
Can anyone out there point me to a source of such information?
If it's any help, the modem itself is labeled "64modem" in a type
style that almost leads me to believe it's the same as the auto-dial
unit that Commodore sells (although I noticed the word Telelearning
on the board itself, when I had it apart); I also noticed it was
labeled "Knowledge modem" and "AC64" in a couple diagrams in the
user's manual.
