I was cleaning the bedroom earlier today, moving
stuff around the way the gf wanted it, and found a stack
of old gamer mags under the bed. Three of them were
DieHardGameFan, issues 1, 2, and 3. I thumbed thru
them and was amused to notice in issue 1 vol. 1, the
FIRST thing you saw when you opened the mag was
a giant two-page ad for the Turbo Duo.
Issue 3 had a two-page ad for the Turbo Grafx 16's
cd add-on, also right when you opened the mag.
Just found it amusing, thought I'd note it. DHGF was
a cool mag imo, had the best pics and covered stuff
the other gamer mags didn't seem to care about, import
games and whatnot. I subscribed to DHGF after about
2-3 (?) yrs of buying it on the shelf, and before I got
a single issue they went belly up. Damn if this didn't happen
with Gamer's Republic too, I subscribed after a year or
two of buying it on the shelf, and it went belly up. Damn.
I'd subscribe to Play but I'm afraid if I do it'll go belly up
too, bwhahahahah.
A lot of cool Turbo reviews and whatnot are buried in those
old DHGFs. I stuck the first 3 on the shelf w/the other DHGFs,
kinda wondered where they'd disappeared to.

You'd easily pay for your Duo for that. Plus it's more pleasing to the eye.

--- Turbo List Information ---------------------------------------------
The Turbo List: Our drivers carry less than $20 in cash (mainly because
they're always broke from buying TG/Duo/PCE games), but none the less,
it's just something that you should be aware of.
