Hey List,
i was checking out pcecp.com and i read on there that you could
import (data?) from Wizardry I & II into III & IV. is this right?
also, i noticed that Wizardry V came out on the Duo before parts i\II
and III/IV. can things be ported into part V? finally, given how much enlish is in this game and that it was
developed in the US, why the hell was it never released for the Turbo?
i remember even hearing that people from TTI had spoken to one of the
programmer:s of the game. so, what happened? i:m getting ready to begin the series tonight and am very excited.
any advice and tips. i:ve already been warned that this is a difficult
game. how do you rate it in terms of music and story? curious as
always, george

There isn't a huge amount of story in the early games as far as I can
remember. The game is just a hardcore dungeon romp. You can literally
spend hours just creating your character (reroll!). It wasn't really
until parts 6, 7, and 8 where the story became a little more developed.
The wizardry series is one of the most beloved CRPG series ever made,
and they just don't make games like this anymore. The gameplay is much
different than standard console RPGs which is why so many people are
turned off by it, but its definitely worth giving a shot Alex.
