Hey Lists,
Greetings from a chilly night in Tokyo where the weather up until
today was very warm. Anyway, any of you currently in the tokyo area,
takumi suidu and i and perhaps one other person are meeting up for a
little video game chat tomorrow night (sunday night) in shinjuku. if
you can make it, we:ll be across from Kabuki cho exit of shinjuku
station right in front of the massive tv screen on the studio alta
building. if you think you can make it, drop me an email so we know
to wait for you. hope to see you there,
 cheers, george

hey list, insertcredit.com has a little newsbit that Falcom has
announced a new game called The Legend of Heroes 6 or something like
that. I know this was a big series what with the Xanadu games and all
that but, is this the same series? if it is, then WOW is all i can
say. first Ys VI and now Dragonslayer VI. on top of that, Hudson
brings back Bonk and Manjimaru and, i think Adventure Island....that:s
got to be a good sign, right?

HuneX made "First Kiss Monogatari" for the PC-FX

(you can go to pcecp.com, click on catalog, advanced search and select
HuneX from the distributor menu).

I've got HuneX listed as developers for Blue Breaker as well, is this
incorrect?

They're also Dreamcast developers of the "Simple 2000 Romance Simulation"
series.

That is correct. HuneX developed Blue Breaker and it was distributed
by NEC. Since NEC distributed it, it is their logo all over the BB
packaging (and in the ads too). First Kiss was both developed and
distributed by HuneX.

They announced that quite a while ago. They've just definitely announced
that it will be available in Spring.

It's not part of the Dragonslayer Series. Legend of Heroes 1-2 were part of
Dragonslayer, but 3-5 were part of a separate series called "The Gagharve
Trilogy" and are completely different from the first two. 6 will begin a
new trilogy. It looks a lot different from 3-5. Dragonslayer really hasn't
been gone for that long. 5 was released in 1999 and the remake of 4 was
released in 2000. If you didn't bother to play 3-5, then I don't see why
you should care much about 6, man. Go get 3-5, they're all good games.

Hi all!

Dumb question here - is Snatcher only 1 CD? I picked up a copy in its 2-CD
case, but it only has 1 CD. I figure the extra space is for the manuals but
just want to make sure. :)

Thanks!

were any of those other games ever released in english (i:m sure i
know the answer to that one but i have to ask). also, wasn:t Legend
of Xanadu part of that series as well or am i mixing up things here
left and right. i was under the impression that dragonslayer and
xanadu were in the same series. sigh- please help, george
