Hey, I'm in Japan, too! (But, quite far from Tokyo.)
Anyway, I was able to pick up DEII for cheap in my
city (about 1000 Yen (the price, not the city's name
;-P)), and it's fun, of course. But, one poster said
that there is a big difference between the US and JP
versions of DEII. What are the differences, besides
language? I can't tell...

As for good shooters, Star Parodia, if you can find
it, kicks ass! L-Dis is good, and so is SideArms
Special (for a good oldskool feel), but it's damned
hard. For quasi-shooters, Shubibin Man 3 is really
good, though too short. The music on that one is some
of the best I've heard on the PCE.
