I am looking for a CPM communications program to use with an Apple 2+
other than the Modem7 I have now. I am looking for one which has a
reasonable emulation of a standard terminal such as a VT100 or VT52
built in to make it convenient to communicate with mainframes at
work. These require an Xon Xoff protocol. I also want one with
the MODEM7 capability. The ones I am considering are Z term, MITE,
ASCOM, Crosstalk, SOFTCOM and Suprterm. Can anyone comment on whether
any of these have the desired capabilities or suggest another program
that does?
