I am in the Medical Sciences Teaching Labs at UNC and we have a TV production
department which writes scripts. Theses scripts are usually in two columns
across an 80 column page(text on the left, stage directions on right). The
TV people are *not* computer programmers but are above average computer users.
Applewriter I does not meet their needs and they are looking for another
wordprocessing package with 80 column capabilities. I have experience with
IBM mainframes and PC's but am in the dark about Apple software. It would
be preferable if the software were on NC State contract and/or available at
Student Stores(UNC,NCSU). Any help would be greatly appreciated. Please
respond by e-mail as I do not subscribe to net.micro.apple(but will
read it after this date).

The Apple ][e has 80 column capabilities and we wish only to buy a new
wordprocessing package not additional operating systems or hardware. We have
Apple DOS 3.3 and a C-Itoh 8510A printer.
