Does anyone out there know how to use modems with UCSD Pascal?
It ought to be modem independant, but just for the record I am using
a Pace Mastercard RS-232 card with a Pace Nightingale modem.
I have tried opening files to 'remin:' and 'remout:' and using
'read's 'write's and 'unitread's and 'unitwrite's but to no effect.
Can you use modems with high-level commands, or do you have to sink
down to machine level?

Any help would be greatly appreciated,
