Hello List;

As some of you may already know (those who have visited
the new MindRec.com web site in the last couple of weeks)
MindRec is getting ready to release their next game.

"Meteor Blaster" is almost ready for release... MB is
an old school" shooter for the PCE/TG that will remind
you of Asteroids.

Ultimately, we are hoping to do 2 releases. A Free
version of Meteor Blaster will be available soon, and if
is received well, a CD based Deluxe version will come out
later (the CD version would have CD audio, cinemas,
high score lists, key config ability, etc). The CD
version would also contain several bonus titles as
Implode did.

Anyway... before the release of Meteor Blaster, I would
like to have a few more Beta Testers. What I need for Beta
Testers are: folks who can spend an hour or so with Meteor
Blaster (preferrably on real hardware, but emulation is
okay as well) and give me feedback within the next couple
of days. Comments (both good and bad) are appreciated.
If you are interested in MB, but not in beta testing, you
can still check out http://mindrec.com/ for information
on the game.

Additionally, if you run a Turbo/PCE Fan web site and would
like a custom copy of MB for download on your site (that is
a copy of the game with your site's name in lights, literally),
let me know. We will not be able to accept every site, but we
will try to accept as many as possible.

Finally, if you are a musician, and interested in having some
of your music appear in the deluxe version, please let me know.
I will send full info an this to anyone interested.

thanks,

-bt

Hi Bt,

I have to say, this game sounds great...I love Asteroids and think an
updated Asteroids type game sounds awesome. I would definetely buy this
game on CD when it's released. As far as Beta testing, I wouldn't mind
testing it, but it would have to be on an Emulator (as I need to get
some parts for my Duo to get it back up and running at the moment...new
ac adapter, controller, av cables, etc.) Just wanted to let you know
though that I'm definetely interested in a new Turbo shooter.

Eric
