I recently (finally!) started getting some Japanese HuCARDs (so far,
all of them used), and some of them have a small square of foam in the
case. Now it's easy to figure out that the foam is intended to keep
the game snug, but which side was it originally on? I'm assuming the
front side of the card, but you never know. Like I said it's a silly
question...

And were there any other methods of keeping the card in place? Most of
my US HuCARD games have a small plastic arm that secures the card
itself. However, at least one utilizes a small circular sticky area to
hold the card snug. I also seem to recall having a game that has a
small circle of velcro holding the card.in place. Now I'm gonna have
to open up all my HuCARD games to make sure I''m not just dreaming
this one up!

I've seen a couple with a pair of holes in the HuCard sleeve and a couple
plastic hooks in the jewel case insert. I think this was the way Populous
was packaged and maybe the Tennokoe Bank.(I'm too lazy to go upstairs and
verify this right now)

Yes, Tennokoe bank and Street Fighter II CE both use the holes and the
clips. Never knew that until I actually bought them.

On another note, anyone interested in buying Bonk III CD? Send me an
email.
