Really? I find this hard to belive! I would never dream that TZD will
sell their to Lik-Sang. Of course, stranger things have been known to
happen. I often wonder what the future of "classic gaming" will be like...
for example, 20 years down the road. Like those Atari 2600's for
example. It's a old system, but it still has all kinds of interesting
support, even today. Of course it's popularity was much different than the
Turbo. Atari in itself is sort of a collector thing.

Then there is emulation... some will argue it kills the classic gaming
collecting (values, etc) others think it helps... (people who emulate then
end up getting the real system) I wonder what case is more often? Come to
think of it, I heard there is some kind of emulation/emulator for the Xbox
that has "every game ever" or something (as said to me by someone) who can
further verify and explain this to me? I don't have an Xbox or PS2 for
that matter... As much as I would like to be into the current games, I just
don't have the time or the money really. Unless it comes out on the PC that
is. :) Which brings me to the new game for me, "Morrowind" anyone played
this game? I am currently addicted to it. It's the first modern game I
have played a lot, for a very long time. Any else in the same gaming state
that I am in?

I also second Aaron on this topic, Bt.... please tell us any new info on
Implode! How have the past years sales been? How is Mindrec doing? and
so on...

Hey guys,
buy the new issue of The Edge magazine (UK games mad). It has a 12 page
feature on the PC Engine + Turbografx!

Plus can anyone recommend any Taito games on PCE Engine? Or Games that are
similar in style to Taito's platform games? I Have New Zealand Story, KiKi
KaiKai, Don Doko Don and Chase HQ.
Chasing Liquid Kids and Cloud Master at the moment.

Anyone know what pop and magic is like? It looks a bit like a taito platform
rip off. Thought I might give it a go.

Just wondering what else is out there.

Seeya

New info ? Um, well,.... we're coming up on the 1 year anniversary
of Implode's release. Sales have certainly slowed down in the last 6
months (I think I have only sold 2-3 copies since March, TZD has not
been moving a lot of copies lately either).

MindRec is still around, and as always is doing contract web work
to hel pfund further PCE development. Expect an announcement
within the next couple of weeks about a new PCE effort from
MindRec.

As for PCE development in general ... things are SLOW. yes, there
are new demos coming out, and yes there are new "language" patches
coming out, and yes further development on the compiler and tools
is ongoing, but any new game development is at a minimum (it
appears). Hopfully this thread will bring a few previously unknown
projects out of the woodwork... but things look pretty slow right now.

The Rainbow Islands port for the PCE is very good; though usually expensive.
Also, Jigoku Meguri(Bonze Adventure) is fun.
