I've been to Kyoto a few times and I think I've been to that same
shop. It's very good indeed however, keep in mind that they close
pretty early. I think that place closes by 8:30 or so. I missed it so
many times early on cause by the time I made it to that part of town it
was at least 9. As an aside, in case you're interested, there is a great shop on
the road which goes from Kin-kakuji to Gin-kakuji in the northwest.
Though it doesn't have any 16bit stuff, it does have great Saturn and
DC sections as well as everything else from the PSX on to current
stuff. Since you're going to be in Kyoto anyway (and no trip to Kyoto
is complete without visiting the Gin kakuji), you should check that
store out. good luck,
george

> Hi,
I went to Kyoto just this past May, and I found one
good game shop there. It is on "Teramachidori"
street, south (ie: towards the station) of the long
shopping arcade. I can't describe its exact location,
but when I was walking along Teramachidori, I kept
walking south and the boring old clothing & souvenir
shops gave way to PC and electronics shops.
