Subject: Core Grafx questions

Hello Turbolisters,

I've got a couple of questions I hope someone is kind enough to
answer.

A Core Grafx I got off ebay just arrived. Games to play on it should
also be arriving soon.

Anyway, the AV cable it came with only has mono audio. Is this the
correct cable? Because my Duo has stereo audio, I assumed the Core
Grafx would also. Is this not the case? I've done some FAQ checking
and Googling but haven't found an answer.

Also, what should happen when the Core Grafx it is turned on without a
game inserted? I get a white screen. Is this what should be expected?
No title screen or insert game message? Unfortunately, until the games
arrive, I'm limited to what I can do to make sure it works OK.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Ralph

The video cables on my core grafx are stereo. I don't know how you could have
gotten mono cables because the connector seems a bit non-standard to me. Maybe
you could find an extr set of cables around the list? Good luck!

As for the white screen, that sounds about right to me, but I'm not at my house
right now so I can't exactly check for you at the moment.

The mono cable is an aftermarket cable. Usually, the units sold in Asia
came with a lousy mono cable with a white RCA and a yellow RCA connector.

The Core Grafx does output stereo, and your Turbo Duo cable will work with it.

The white screen is typical if a game is not inserted. However, it doesn't
mean that everything is OK, either.
