Thanks for your kind words George...but I think my LoT project hardly
deserves that much praise. When it comes down to it, ANYONE (and I mean
anyone!) can make LoT or any other Turbo game on the PC using the program
I'm using - Game Maker 5.0. So far I've put in over 60 hours of work into
LoT and I'm using not one bit of hand-written code.

If anyone has opened the door for us it has been people before me...Bt of
course with IMPLODE and others making home-brew games. I just decided to
make a port of a Turbo game using easy game maker tools. But you are
right - with this program at least, someone could make a PC game sequel or
what have you of any Turbo game they wished.

It's pretty cool that people want to remake or port PCE games. I wish I
had the time to try out something myself. I hope more people do similar
projects... especially if it's on the PCE. :)

I've pretty much tried out all the homebrew PCE related stuff I could
find. The recent being Aaron's LoT port of course, and you can't forget
Eagan's WIP of Keith Courage. I haven't played Implode yet, but now that
I have a job, I'll need to pick that up too.

Everybody should be sure to check out Dave Shadoff's translations of some
PCE games and the really cool Xak III complete English translation by
NightWolve (http://home.earthlink.net/~nlivaditis/xakiii/).

Last but not least, there's all the cool stuff on www.zeograd.com.

Hmm... seems that there's a lot going on in the PCE scene and hopefully
it'll stay that way for a while.

You want to know what game really deserves to be made... a Johnny Turbo game.
