Uh, no...never even got so much as an email, after repeated inquiries,
even
after FREE offer of TG16CD parts for information regarding how he
repaired
such things. Even went by what I thought was the guy's shop on Dobson
in
AZ, but it was a gated apartment complex...no luck there, either.
STILL pissed off because the list won't let me post from a Hotmail
account...

Subject: Bonk and Adventure Island resurrected
According to IGN, A couple of more classic Hudson games are getting
overhauled and put on the Gamecube for cheap, just like the upcoming
Lode Runner and Star Soldier. This time we get two Turbo Grafx titles - Bonk and Adventure
Island (which Bonk? Who knows... I'm hoping for a compilation of all 3). All
these games will retail for 3000 yen in Japan. I REALLY hope we get to
see 'em in the United States.
Another interesting note, with some speculation - apparently the relaunched
NEC is trying to regain its old intellectual property rights from the
PC Engine era. I'm hoping their relationship with Nintendo (they contributed to the
hardware) and the fact that they've already released Tube Slider for it
means we could see more old Turbo franchises resurrected on the Cube.

Has anyone else noticed that Bonk looks suspicously similar to Dopey
from the Walt Disney movie Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs? Perhaps
this is one of those "Separated at birth" things.
