This is too difficult to answer, but, if I absolutely HAD to, I'd say:

    1. Cosmic Fantasy 2 (what a kick ass game!!!)
    2. Far East of Eden III- Fuun Kabuki Den
    3. Y's I & II

how can I leave out Xanadu, lords of thunder, dracual x, vasteel,
the exile games, panic bomber, lodoss war games, other Ys and cosmic
fantasy games, dungeon explorer II, the fatal fury games, and the most
underrated Duo game of all time BEYOND SHADOWGATE?

You know, I forgot about how many we actually got in English...am I
missing one from this list?
Hu-Card-

Neutopia
Neutopia II
Order of the Griffon
Dungeon Explorer

CD/ SCD (yes- the following RPGs)

Y's I & II
Dragonslayer: The Legend of Heroes
Beyond Shadowgate
Dungeon Explorer II
Exile
Exile II: Wicked Phenomenon

semi-RPGs

Loom
Dungeon Master: Theron's Quest
Double Dungeons

For some reason, it never occurred to me that this many came to
us in English. In any event, I know that the SNES traditionally gets
the nod as the RPG king but I dispute that. I love my SNES but if you
include the PC Engine Duo games, it's clear that the Duo had the better
games. Sure, the Mega Drive/Genesis had the incredible Lunar, Shining,
and Phantasy Star games, but, this line-up is unbeatable IMO:
Cosmic Fantasy series
Xanadu/Dragonslayer series
Ys series
Tengai Makyou/Far East of Eden series
Xak series
Emerald Dragon (i've heard this is great but i've never played it
Australius
Record of Lodoss War games
and many more...

So, the battle of two heavyweights. which is the more capable of
the two? Can the SGX games be handled by the ACD format? Can SGX
games be converted to ACD format? (What a great thing that would be to
have Aldynes on an ACD). In making this comparison, be technical, but please let it make
sense to a techy dumby like me. btw, i noticed that Magic Engine has SGX ability. Where can roms be
found for that?
