Good morning peeps,

Concerning the discussion of PS2, Xbox and GC games available in high =
res, I
just wanted to share with everyone a link to a web-site that attempts to
list all the games which are available above 480p (SDTV) 720p or 1080i =
(or
so called HDTV resolution(s)). You may sort the list by console and
resolution.

As for an interesting primer on what exactly is HDTV, you may take a =
look at
the following link. Remember that for those residing in the USA, all the
broadcast television signals will be HDTV by 2006.

For the record, I own an HDTV, a PS2 and an XBOX, and both are hooked-up
with components cable (which are necessary to play in high res) and the
games that do support high res offer a considerable visual improvement
(night and day in some cases).

So does anyone know how to spot a Sapphire fake? I'm aware that a lot
of fake copies came from France or somewhere in Europe.
I don't really feel like spending hundreds on a copy.

Fakes? do you have a rough description?
It can't be hard to spot a fake if you own some pc engine cd games...
surely the quality of the manual and the cd printing will be
noticeable?
I've seen a few Bomberman cd fakes in HK in my time and they almost had
a sticker reading "This cd picture was done on a laserjet and the
manual poorly aligned with pages missing"
