Subject: Implode Codes

Hello;

Implode has been out now for 7 months, and I thought I would
share some of the codes that are in the game with everyone....

Options Menu
At the title screen for Implode, press Select to get into the
Options menu. You can control many different aspects of the game
(and your options are saved to BRAM, so they will persist).

Bomb Title Screen:
(this is visual only, it does notthing to alter the game) After
selecting Implode for the game load menu, press and hold the I
button. When the MindRec logo starts to fade, release the button
and rather than blocks, you will have bombs on the title screen.

Bonus Animations, Super System Card Needed animation:
After the game menu has loded, but before the game names show
up on screen, press and hold I + II + Up .

Bonus Animation, Orbit v2 Demo
After the game menu has loded, but before the game names show
up on screen, press and hold I + II + Down . (Please note that
'adult' image in the downloadable version of this demo has been
  removed for the CD release).

Subject: Help me determine a fair price

Hey everyone,

It's been a long time - I'm glad to see the turbo list is still alive and
kicking.

I'm hoping you all can help me with this:

A friend of mine has a Turbo Express and a TV Tuner. He has offered to sell
it to me, and I want to buy it. However, I don't want to pay way too much
but at the same time, I don't want to screw him.

I've been looking around on ebay, TZD, and other sites and I'm finding a
variety of prices - I just saw a TE on ebay go for $61.00 with 5 games. I
also saw a TV tuner (alone) go for $81.00.

At TZD, I'm seeing the TE for $149.00 NEW and I saw the tuner somewhere else
for $129.00 NEW.

What do you all think is a fair price? I'm getting the Turbo Express (NO
dead pixels), the TV Tuner, and one game that I already have (bravoman.)
He's the original owner - bought the TE and tuner when they were new.

Any help and suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I think the best bet would be to directly down the middle with this one.
Take the two prices you got from eBay and TZD and pay the average. That
would be $105 for the TE and another $105 for the Tuner for about $210.
(Kinda ironic that both amounts average out to the same thing). If you
think that's a little low, then just add an extra $25 to the total just
because he is a friend.

And he obviously must be a good friend considering he has Turbo stuff. :)

I would suggest that you pay him somewhere in the range of $200 to $250
based on what you found online for new. The fact that his TE has zero bad
pixels, that is also pretty hard to find. I personally never really cared
too much for the TV tuner since watching TV on the TE screen never happened
for me. I bought the TE to play games, not watch TV. Thus, you can see the
reason why I've never owned or shown interest in the TV Tuner. I suppose
for some it would be cool. Maybe I'll pick one up to watch TV while I'm on
the train to work...

Anyway, I think that because he is your friend and has a good package to
sell, you should pay him fairly. Again, $200-$250 I would think is fair.
Hope you enjoy it (assuming you purchase it). The TE, as far as I'm
concerned, was the best portable ever made.

Mike

i don't know. not to be a cheap-skate, but i think this all sounds a bit
high. i have sold many games and systems to friends at a pretty big loss
(compared to current value), and i did so because we are indeed friends.
sure, he could turn the two out for 200+, but present it to him that you'd
like a juicy deal from your good buddy. i'm saying $140 for the two. (btw, i
just sold my TE and Tuner on Ebay -- $71.00, and $48.00, respectively; both
were in great condition.) anything else is hardly a friend-to-friend
purchase. and one-forty is hardly anything to scoff at.
