[ two wrongs don't make a right, but three rights make a left ]

I recently bought Aztec C for the Apple and have begun to write
some graphics routines. I added lo-res graphics first, since they were
easiest, then I started work on the hi-res stuff. Before I spend a lot
of time on this has anyone written a graphics library in C for the
Apple that they would be willing to share? For those of you who have
written graphics routines, did you write them entirely in C or did you
use assembly language? If you used only C, how do your routines
compare in speed with say the Applesoft ROM routines or the
Turtlegraphics routines from Pascal? I'm really interested in getting
a good graphics library for the Apple running under C, but I don't
want to repeat what someone else has done if I don't have to.

If nobody else has tackled this project and I go ahead and finish my
work, would anyone out there be interested in this sort of thing? I
already have some utility programs that I could post/mail if there's
sufficient interest.
