I've checked Deathskull Labs and Gamesx.com and there is no S-Video mod for
TG-16 at all. There are RGB mods and you can get an RGB to S-Video adapter
but it's quite expensive.

http://www.gamesx.com/rgbadd/rgbturbo.htm for the RGB mod (and SCART mod as
well)
http://users.erols.com/tiltonj/games/tech/tg16av.html from Deathskull lab,
more on RGB.

I've checked the Turbolist archive and I didn't see anything that would be
used for S-Video mod.

There is one possible cheap solution but the video quality won't be better
than composite. Composite basically contains chroma (color) and luma
(brightness) on the same wire, while S-video have those 2 signals on
separate wires. Some S-video devices often are forgiving enough to take
composite into S-Video port so you'd need to find an adapter that takes the
RCA plug (from TG-16) and make it into S-Video plug. This may work, it may
not as I don't have S-video support on my TV.

Subject: SuperGrafx games

Hey folks,

I'm new to the List, so go easy on me.
Couple of questions: How often do you see 1941 for the SuperGrafx and
what kind of prices do you usually see? Other games are pretty common,
I guess, but prices you normally see?

Which gets me to the next question: Any one have a spare SuperGrafx AC
Adapter? Or for that matter a CD-Rom2 AC adapter?

Thanks
Drags

I got my 1941 copy used from http://www.wolfgames.com about 3 months ago for
~$150. I've also seen a brand-new copy going for ~$200. It doesn't really come
up very often - I've seen it maybe 8 times in four years. I'd say that if you
find a copy for less than $200, jump on it!

As for a SuperGrafx AC Adapter, I replaced mine with a modified Game Gear AC
Adapter. The GG adapter puts out the right amount of power - just replace the
plug with one that will fit a SG. I don't have a CD-ROM adapter, so I have no
idea about its power requirements.
