Hello. I was wondering if anyone could tell me the proper tool to open
a laseractive control pack(without damaging the screws). If you could
also let me know where I might acquire one of the said tools, I would
greatly appreciate it. Thank you!

My TG16 CD is long since traded, but I still have the original promo CD+G
that it came with. I had forgotten all about it until I was cleaning out my
closet. Is this of any value to anyone on the list? By itself, it doesn't
seem like a very desireable item (the songs are at that awkward stage
between outdated and classic). Its in its original case with insert, but is
showing its age. The disk is a little scratched, but plays fine in my CD
player. Sorry, but I can't test in in a TG16 CD any more :(

Has anyone else noticed that Bonk looks suspicously similar to Dopey
from the Walt Disney movie Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs? Perhaps
this is one of those "Separated at birth" things.

For instance, I wish that somebody...anybody...would obtain the rights (if
they are obtainable) to PC Cocoron, a finished, yet unreleased, game for PC
Engine. This game is horribly difficult to get a copy of, as folks aren't
letting it go very easily (try to the point of constipation...I know someone
who located a copy, but was unable to work an adequate deal...the owner
didn't want cash for a burn of it). Would there be an audience for it? Who
knows, unless, like me, you've played the Famicom game and know what you're
getting, albeit in a more attractive package. Given that NEC was releasing
games in Japan rather late (or past actually) the system's life cycle, I'm
surprised they didn't pick it up themselves. Sur de Wave was also developing
a seemingly similar title for Mega CD...Pop'n Land...which was also killed
about the same time (they must've gone under, though I honestly never
checked). It's a shame both just became footnotes in gaming
history...especially in the case of Cocoron, as it was an ancipated Super CD
action game by some, including me.

Grant
