A friend showed me a real interesting and cheap prop-up stand for the Model 100.
He stuck a fired 30-06 cartridge in each of the two rear screw holes. Very
cheap, very effective.

Of course, my own opinions and views. Management is probably way beyond 30-06.

Summary:

A very cheap stand consists of the ends
of everyday pencils (with eraser tips
for friction...). 1.5 inches seems to
be the right length for me.
