As an aside, I recall before the Duo was to be released, some print media
(EGM among them) were fanning the rumour that the pack-in for the Duo was to
be a TV Sports collection on one disk. Thankfully, cooler heads prevailed,
and we got the quality of pack-ins we did. However, anyone know the back
story regarding the last minute switch of Ninja Spirit for Dungeon Explorer
as the HuCard pack-in? The literature (actually a Turbo mag) that came with
the Duo had spreads on all of the pack-ins, with Dungeon Explorer prominently
displayed...not Ninja Spirit.

hey yo, of course there's things like Flash Advance Linkers for GBA and
there's other copying devices for other systems... i was just wondering
what's the type of device to get for doing all of that with a TG16/PCE? just
a few games i don't have that i'd like to be able to play on a real system
y'know :)

The two that I know of are the MGD2 with the PC Engine adaptor and the
RAM cards and the PC Engine Griffon (aka Flying Eagle in HK). I have pics of those on my page at http://members.hknet.com/~odie1974/rare.htm

Note that the pic I showed of the MGD2 connecting to the Duo-R is a bit
of a lie since the Duo slot is a bit small for the adaptor to fit in
but it's used for illustration purposes only ;)

Was the CD32 ever released in America? I remember EGM reviewing the games
back in the day when the system first came out but I dont ever remember
seeing it once in the US.

It was released here; and did very badly. Sad, because it was as
fantastic as the amigas were, but the games were often just rehashed
A500 games with cinemas or new audio. If you want to know more about
the CD32, this guy's page is AMAZING for things like that:

http://assembler.roarvgm.com/

I lose myself there for hours sometimes.

A Dracula X review that was posted today... 9 years after the game came
out. :)
