Subjece: Change startup without launching an application!
Newsgroups: net.micro.apple

You can make a Mac disk be the startup disk without running an application
on the new disk--just hold down Command-Option and double-click the Finder
on the new disk! This tip is from the RAM disk documentation. Works great!
