GMF released Legend of Heroes I&II for both PlayStation and Saturn. GMF
published Legend of Heroes III for PlayStation and Hudson Soft did the honors
for Saturn under the title Shiroki Majou. Legend of Heroes IV came to the
PlayStation...again from GMF. All Japan-exclusive, of course. As far as I
know, Legend of Heroes I (as Dragon Slayer on the Turbo) is the only title
from the entire disjointed Dragon Slayer family to hit a U.S. console. My
favorite entry in the entire mess is Sorcerian which I own for PC Engine,
Dreamcast, Mega Drive, and PC. Regarding the first two LOH games...I
personally prefer the PC Engine releases to the compilation for PlayStation
(never tracked down the Saturn comp). Been considering attempting to locate
the Mega Drive revs, though I'm sure they also pale to the PCE revs.

Actually, DS4 aka Legacy of the Wizard came out of the NES. It's arguably one
of the best 8bit titles, imho, of course ;). And I completely agree,
Sorcerian is cool, incredible music to boot.

"The White Witch," as this is typically translated, is the subtitle for all
versions of Legend of Heroes III. LoH IV is subtitled "A Tear of Vermillion"
and V is "A Cagesong of the Ocean." The three of them together are
considered the "Garghav Trilogy," whatever that means. I wish I knew
Japanese so I could play through the Saturn version of the third game. As
far as I know, the stories of I+II and III-V don't have anything to do with
each other.

Subject: Need Info on pc engine cd ac adaptor

HI,

Does any one know a good off brand AC adaptor to use for a pc engine w/
interface and cd-rom unit,I cant seem to find the brand name adaptor
anywhere. I went to radio shack to see if I can find one all they had was a
9v 1300mA. The unit says it needs a 9v 1450mA,will the 1300mA work? I've got
4 complete systems to test out to see if they work so any info you guys have
will be of great help!!
                                             Thanks,
                                                Dan
