Hello,

After last year's Circus Lido experience, I noticed that www.amazon.co.jp
now carries all major recent Japanese systems & games. Do they ship them
internationally ? How does it works with customs & taxes ( UPS shipping )
for large orders ?

Thanks,

Hi guys! :)

When i started programming for PC Engine two months ago (or three?), i bought
a Sound Blaster Audigy to be able to record the music for the games i want to
code. I was really amazed with the sound quality of the midis played/made with
this baby... How good is Sound Canvas vs a Sound Blaster Audigy? Did you ever
heared one? Fuck, now i want a Sound Canvas for my PCE collection too :) What
have you made to me??????? :)

What do you want to say? Y's 1 music quality is better than Y's IV ?? Man, i
have been hearing Y's IV music for days-non-stop! :))) And i think it's VERY
great, especially three or four tracks!!

Subject: reshrunk Drac X?

Hello fellow listers,

Can someone tell me if all factory shrinked Dracula X pce games
had that little plastic tab to tear off the wrap? The reason I ask
is because I recently won myself a new copy on a certain auction site.
Someone saw the auction and informed me that it may be
a used and reshrunk copy due to the fact that the pictures clearly
show a lack of the hang tab (as it has been referred to in the past).
He then showed me pictures of a new Dracula X with the hang tab.

I haven't paid for the auction yet and do not want to shell out
big bucks for what may be a used copy of the game.

I guess it comes down to the big question. Were there new copies
of Dracula X made without that little hang tab?

Thanks for your help.

-Frank

That's b/c it doesn't exist! Does anyone have *ANYTHING* that proves
that this was in any stage other than planning? <

Strider Beta, The "Hard Evidence":

I remember seeing 1 screenshot of this game all the time. Also, to coincide
with this screenshot, there's a photo of "the" (or perhaps just a random)
beta plugged into a nifty Supergrafx.

Strider Beta, the mystical, magical storyland version:

"Someone", "somewhere", has the information that "5-six" betas were produced,
and somehow....SOMEHOW, made it on to the market. Same "someone" has seen
maybe one or two of these with their own eyes.

Now, truthfully, all of this is plausible, yet it's been so long since I
cared, I couldn't really give a you a clue as too where I even got any of
this information.

Now, if I'm ever rich and powerful, I promise you guys, I'll go on a hunt for
this Strider beta, buy me a HUCARD press, and pump a whole bunch o' copies
out. Then we could play to our hearts content. Which would probably be
about ten minutes, given that's probably all that's there.

I think that all new official PC Engine SCD games had that hang tab.

I have a brand new Legend of Xanadu II with the plastic hang tab.

Also, the plastic wrap is very firm. Not like the flimsy crap that they wrap
games in over in this country.

Hey guys,

I was wondering if anyone had a new factory shrinked copy
of Dracula X for sale. It seems the one I almost bought was
not new after all.

Thanks.

I *highly* doubt there are factory shrinkwrapped Dracula X anywhere.

Most likely re-wraps or used games. From every one I have seen, they
have come in used in the past few years.
If someone claims its new, ask for a scan, and check it. I just don't
believe there would be any new ones. Even my Konami customers told me
they doubted it.
