Has anyone successfully used the GET command in the editor that comes with
the Commodore macro assembler development system to append one large (>20
sectors) text file to another in memory? It works for me on small files,
but trying to append a reasonably large file gets me a 'FILE ERROR' message
without even attempting a disk access. If I try twice without reloading the
editor, it hangs in some condition that won't recognize the return key. I
have a fairly old copy (bought January 84)--does this work in newer versions?

I've had no problems at all with a June '84 version.

Best of luck.
