I just wrote a terminal program for the Vic-20 with at least 8k RAM
expansion. It is the first version, but it has many features. Some are:
42 column by 18 row display
up/down load from/to tape
300/1200 compatable
buffered printing to screen and to printer (set up for Commodore printer)
100% machine language
many options (ie color of chars)
continuous status display
software letter only shift lock switch
I intend to send it to a magazine (ie COMPUTE!) for publishing soon.
before I do, I would like any comments pertaining to features that
seem necessary to a terminal program and also an idea of interest to obtain
a copy of this program.
If you would be interested in obtaining a copy (on tape) of this program
if offered for $3, or if you want more info on it, please reply.
In your reply, please state if you own the 3k expansion cartriage and a
motherboard (to connect a 3k and an 8k together).
If there are many replies, I will convert it to lie in the 3k area
for the next version.
Future related programs include:
Simple editor
Vic basic to ASCII conversion
ASCII to Vic basic conversion
Thank you,
Lenny
