Last Tuesday's N.Y. Times had an ad (Science Times Section C)
for the 800XL at $99!!!  Much cheaper than the peripherals!
There were also several other ads for similar prices, all
below $120....most around $110.  Tramiel was quoted in the
Times business section saying other computer makers were "greedy"
and he apparently means business.  Oh boy!  Wish I hadn't bought
my 800 3 years ago.  I won't admit what I paid!
