You don't have LoT?!

Oh, and Aaron! Very good job. You know, I was thinking of doing
something similar, but I definatly don't have the time, not the talent
and software. I can however, capture video, and possibly provide
materials for a couple of reviews.

Some ideas I thought of when I was thinking of a similar concept:
- offering side by side comparaisons between different versions of the
games on different consoles. (Military Madness on PCE and PSX, NeoGeo
Fighting games (NeoGeoCD vs PCEngine ACD, Dracula X PCE vs SNES,
Bomberman)

- reviewing a "series" of games. ShubbinbinMan 1 to 3, Bomberman,
etc...

Just a couple of ideas. Although I think everyone will be happy if you
stick to your current format. ;) Just let us know if you want to have
people submitting any of their own reviews, and desired format, etc. ;)

Well,

I live in London and the PC Engine wasn't ever released over here, so there
are some games that (although I've heard people raving etc) I've never seen
the the graphics etc for. I knew that it was a shoot em up. It's not a
particularly common game over here though. Pretty weird because just about
every shop that stocks Engine stuff here seems to have the supposedly rare
games like Dracula X + Macross 2046 etc.

Also, it's really, really easy to get Coregrafx's here and even pretty easy
to get PCE Lt's and Shuttles but it takes a while to find CD units or Duo's=

There's a great retrogames shop here that sells games pretty cheaply,
especially unboxed ones. A lot of the unboxed games go for like =A32. I got a=
n
unboxed Motoroader 2 + Kunio's Dodgeball, Dragon Spirit and a complete copy
of Image Fight for =A314 the other day. Pretty cheap.

Cheers

Kris

Hi again, my newly Turbo-addicted mind has a few questions...

1) Is there anywhere to purchase empty HuCard jewel cases? I seem to
remember seeing them for sale somewhere in my pre-Turbo ownership days,
but I'll be darned if I can find them again.
2) Was Gate of Thunder ever released in a non 3-in-1 format? Again, one
of those "thought I saw that before" things.
3) Is Deep Blue really as bad as people say it is?

4) Can anyone give an unbiased, detailed comparison of Aero Blasters
and Air Buster (Genesis)?
That's all, thanks again!

Andy

Great Job Aaron. I have read any of the responses so please excuse me if I
bring up an already discussed topic.

No mention of M. Shirow as the character designer/cover artist for Lords of
Thunder. *sniff* That's what makes the game extra special.....

Has anyone else noticed that Bonk looks suspicously similar to Dopey
from the Walt Disney movie Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs? Perhaps
this is one of those "Separated at birth" things.

Aaron -- I've always thought your page was exceptional... the video is
a nice complement. VERY nice. Congratulations. What software did you
use out of curiosity?
When can we expect another one? i find it hard enough to make straight
up videos... in terms of time. :)
Only thing I would recommend is making a DiVX version, as they're
generally much easier on your system (and modem) than Real or ASF -- I
hate both. ;)
