Spent my lunch hour looking at Apple's new RGB card and monitor. The
quality is pretty good and you can do some fancy things like 80-col text
with low-res graphics (I know, just what you wanted :-). The 80-col text
mode is still inferior to text on a monochrome monitor.

The monitor is rated at 25 Mhz with a .38mm pitch. Someone has already
mentioned the motor drive in the tilt control. It looks like the Monitor
][.

I was interested, but my dealer says delivery would take 30 to 60 days. He
suggested the Taxan 410 RGB with 64k as an immediately available
alternative. He uses this card with his Taxan RGB at home. He claims both
cards (Apple and Taxan) are made by Video-7.

Does anyone have experience with the Taxan 410 card? One particular area of
concern is the RGB output. Apple says a "summing network" is needed with
their card and is (as usual, nowadays) vague about the pinout. The Apple
Monitor 100 has the network built in, but my dealer wasn't sure about his
Taxan monitor.

Question: What is the Taxan pinout? (My monitor is a Zenith 135 and can
accept a wide variety of RGB signals, but doesn't have a summing network.)
