Subject: ][e 80-column plus ??? cards?
Newsgroups: net.micro.apple
	O.K., gang.

This righteous denouncer of the Mac has just (30 minutes ago)
replaced his Apple ][ with a ][e. I've receieved some recommendations
for disk drives, now I want to find the best (price/performance)
card to plug into that video slot. (As you will note from the
below I don't have the foggiest idea what I want.)

Microsoft has a 64k/Z80 card, discount $250. Anyone have it?
	Do you like it?

Microsci has a 64k card for $100 (gee, that works out to 512k
for $800 vis a vis Mac) which I will probably get.

	Someone has a 64k (expandable to 128k) for $169.

Apple has a 64k/RGB card but none of the local dealers have one.
(Well, one did have one but it didn't work so they sent it
back.) I've heard rumors of third-party 64k/rgb cards.
Anyone know where I can get one for <$200?
	*** This is what I really want -- 64k/rgb ***

Have I missed any? Does anyone have a 64k/serial/parallel/clock
card for the ][e's video slot?

According to all reports (my dealer chose not to stock them),
the Apple Color Monitor 100 extended-memory RGB card for the
Apple //e is the very best performer although not the cheapest.
