An early report on responses to my request for reports on the MAC at
use in colleges:
One horror story (harwdare received without software) that could
easily be someone's fault other than Apple's.
One rave for MacPascal; 40 MAC's are allowing 280 students to
learn a lot or programming.
One reminder that (some of?) the colleges have good pre-release
software, such as MacTerm.
The following individual is also using Macterminal. He figured out
(with difficulty) how to do a DB9-RS232C cable, and is now using
MACterm with a serial modem: ihnp4!stolaf!umn-cs!digi-g!brian
Please send me some more reports on large scale college MAC use.
