Beatrice Bayley has been around for years. I don't want to slander someone
via a forum that they have no input to, so I will just say that you should
not even consider sending any money. What everyone gets is a list of names
picked from phone books around the country. Hardly the correct way to do
genealogical research.
If you have any questions concerning Beatrice Bayley, call your local library
for a list of genealogical societies near you and write or visit them. Ask
these legitimate researchers if they have ever heard of BB.
Don't get me wrong, a family genealogy is worth buying. It's just that BB
has been giving serious genealogists a bad name.

Regarding my recent flame against Betrice Bayle: It really isn't right
for anyone to vent their personal opinions to the net. Besides who cares about
one person's viewpoint, so I must apologize to this retired school teacher.
By the way, I looked up in my "Oakland County Genealogical Society
Quarterly" index and found a short article mentioning BB. In vol. 5, No. 1,
page 4 (1981):

BEWARE of the various family heritage books under different surnames put out
by BEATRICE BAYLEY.

BEATRICE BAYLEY is a fictitious person! It is a company defrauding the public.

A thourough study of the company is on file at the Pennsylvania State Library
in Harrisburg. The books are worthless and have no genealogical value
whatsoever.

Material is largely culled from standard sources such as 1790 Census, military
lists, motor vehicle registration lists and telephone books.
