In the info-ibmpc digest vol. 3 #74 Byron Han asked how to
recover a portion of his hard disk that he had dedicated to
the p-System. He found out, as I did, that none of the standard DOS
utilities will touch non-DOS areas. (I had set up a Venix partition
that I wanted remove for a while.) The only way I know to reformat
a non-DOS area is to use the IBM Advanced Diagnostics, which includes
a hard disk format program. This worked for Byron Han too, he told me.
