I am very familiar with the strobe lined sticker located on the flywheel
of the disk drive. But that was not the intent of my original message.
The very first message was from a person who had said that he had a
friend that had an Apple and was taking it to Europe, maybe even to
Germany. His message was that he felt that he could adjust for the
difference of frequency "over there" but he wasn't so sure about the
power supply of the Apple.

My message said that he shouldn't have to do anything at all to the
drives (but, I now realize I should have said assuming that the drives
were already within speed). My message then explained why he didn't
have to do anything to the drives (because they run off DC) and probably
why he wouldn't have to do anything to the Apple itself.

Thanks, Don, for the help in further explaining the strobe wheel.
