Has anyone seen another Terminal Emula-
tor for the 99/4a, or done any work on
same. I would like something that will
operate at 1200, as I have a Hayes 1200
smartmodem. I have been planning to try
and write one myself this summer. It
cannot be written in XBASIC as it is to
slow. I have been waiting for FORTH (I
have it on order), as it seems like a
good language to use for this purpose,
and should be easier to learn than
TI assembly language.

If I can write one I plan to start out
simple, just a transmitter/receiver,
running full duplex. If that works, I
will add some of the frills found in
TE-II, and maybe some ideas of my own.

If anyone has any input, I would
appreciate it. Respond on the net or
to me by elec. mail.
