----------------------

This is an update to my previous article on an RS-232 interface

for the VIC-20 and the C-64 . I came across another ad in the

July issue of RUN Magazine ( page 59 ) for the following ....

>>>>	VIC-20 / C-64 MODEM 39.95 #MFJ-1237
300 buad Direct Connect Originate / Answer
Full Duplex - Carrier detect LED

>>>>	RS-232 Interface for VIC-20 / C-64 39.95 #MFJ-1238
Provides RS-232 Voltage Conversion for VIC-20 /C-64 serial port
Standard 25 pin RS-232 connector. Plus into user port.
	Powered by computer. 2.25in. x 2.25in.

Order from MFJ Enterprises Inc.
	    921 Louisville Road
	    Starkville, MS 39759

	    Call 800/647-1800
	    Call 601/323-5869 in MS

The above is for information only....

I can not offer any comments on MFJ since I have not had any

dealings with them . However, I am sure that the net would

want to hear comments on these or similar devices if someone

has had experiences either good or bad .
