as LJK, Broderbund, Synapse, Continental and Penguin already

A beginners guide to care of disks.

Notes of interest:
I mentioned last month that TRAK is coming out with a no-frills
disk drive called THE CHAMP that is single sided all densities.
They will also come out with THE CHAMP 2 which will be double
sided, all densities. They also have now available the AT-D4,
the first double sided, double density drive for Atari.
Astra is advertising their new 2001 drive which is a double
density, double disk drive (not double sided) that is supposed
to be more reliable, quieter, greater capacity, faster read and
write and easier data read than their 1620.
Synapse had an ad for a demo disk the previews four of their
hottest games for $4.00. It requires 48K.
