With the demise of Vectrex, my wife and I are trying to determine the
complete list of releases. MAIL PLANE (for the light pen), 3-D POLE
POSITION, DARK TOWER and BATTER-UP all appeared in one catalogue or
another; were they actually released? Also, did the keyboard ever appear?
For anyone interested in purchasing the system, Child World is selling the
machine for $40 and cartridges for $5. Toys R Us sells the cartridges for
$7. We've seen various Sears selling the machine for $99 and $60, and
cartridges from $15 to list price. There is very little duplication in
the offerings of the different stores, at least so far.
What follows is a list of all the cartridges we have seen thus far. Are
there any others? Thank you for you help.
Fortress of Nazrod Space Wars Armor Attack
Cosmic Chasm Pole Position Starhawk
Star Trek Spike Ripoff
Web Wars Clean Sweep Polar Rescue
Blitz Bedlam Hyperchase
Spinball Scramble Star Castle
Berzerk Solar Quest Heads Up Soccer
For the light pen: Melody Master, Animaction, Art Master
For the 3-D goggles: Crazy Coaster, Narrow Escape, 3-D Mine Storm
Note that some of the above (such as Web Wars) never appeared in any
catalogue, which makes us wonder what else might be out. Web Wars, by
the way, is a wonderful game with amazing graphics and is (to us) worth
the price of the system.
