Has anyone typed in the MLX program and the Chopperoids program that
goes with it from the December 1983 issue of COMPUTE! magazine? This
is a program that is supposed to make it foolproof to type in a machine
language program from their magazine. It only works with certain ones
of their programs. Chopperoids is the first of those programs. The new
January 1984 issue does not contain a mlx loadable program for Atari.

Anyway, my problem is that I typed in the MLX program and checked it
carefully for typing. I then typed in the game per the instructions.
The MLX program seems to work fine since I can save and load a partial
or complete copy of the game per the instruction. The complete game
is supposed to be an auto-boot game that can be loaded per standard
instructions without using the BASIC cartridge. When I do that, it
loads fine. That is, it loads the full program and doesn't give me
an error message. At this point, a title page is supposed to come up
followed closely by the game itself. Mine doesn't! My screen remains
blank and it just sits there locked up. I should mention that I am
using the cassette recorder although the program will also work if you
are using a Disk.

If you have loaded this program and game whether you are using cassette
or disk, please mail me your results. I have checked and rechecked
my typing and I don't think I made a mistake. Any help would be
appreciated.

Thanks...
