I just got the 3D Narrow Escape game from GCE to use with my Vectrex
3D Imager. There was a recent review on this so I won't elaborate
on the game itself, except to say that it certainly is challenging.
I have trouble seeing some objects in 3D. The passage walls are OK, although
I do sometimes have trouble seeing where the plane of the sidewall lies
while shooting at the defense forces. I also have a problem telling how
far I am from the walls with holes in the second phase. Both of these are
probably due to the fact that the object being represented is really 2D,
and the 3D-ness is just to try to show distance.

But some things -- my ship, the score, defense forces, and my lasers --
just don't show as 3D. I always see 2 of them, and varying my distance
to the screen doesn't seem to help. Is this a problem with the speed of
the disk? With my eyes? Am I the wrong distance from the screen? Does
anyone else with this game have the same problem(s)?

Also, the joystick does not seem to have any effect on my ship's position
sometimes -- are there limits as to where you can go on the screen?
Even though I try my best it seems that there are situations in which
it is impossible to go from one wall, thru the fuel cell, and thru the
next wall's hole because of the placement of the holes/cell. Since you
need all the fuel cells to keep going, this makes things very hard.

Please -- someone who's had the game for a while help me out!
