Many thanks to the guy who posted the long review of Vectrex 3D goggles
and games. I saw the goggles in Toys R Us just before Xmas for $49.
I was amused to see them using rotating colored disks, since I can still
recall back in the mid-50's when electronics magazines published
plans to convert your B&W TV to color using 3-color disks driven by AC
motor synched to the TV. I love good old mechanical technology.
Pleased to hear that it works for Vectrex, EVEN for us 4-EYES types (Whew!).
Actually, the spinning disk was used by all the color TV cameras taken to
the Moon by Apollo 12 and up. I read this, and you could see the alternating
color strobe images whenever an astronaut jogged past the camera.
What works for NASA works for Vectrex.... mike k
PS: Anyone want a short Lite Pen review?
Anyone try the Music cartridge yet?
