The Starpath (nee Arcadia) Supercharger for the Atari 2600
is being sold in Portland for $9.99. It was originally
introduced for $70 about a year ago. It is a long cartridge
with RAM and ROM that plugs into the slot and has a cable that
plugs into a cheap tape recorder. It comes with one tape
called "Phaser Patrol", and other tapes are available here
for $6, including "Communist Mutants from Space".

These are obviously closeout prices. Does anyone know for
sure that Starpath has gone out of business, as I suspect?

On the enclosed literature two games are listed that are
not being sold at the same store. Does anyone know for sure
whether those games (Dragonstomper and Killer Satellites) were
ever released?

I bought the thing just so I could tell my grandchildren that
I played "Commie Mutants", as it is otherwise known. The games
are all pretty good. The expanded memory allows them to be
quite complete, and performance is also good.

I don't read this newsgroup all the time so I may have missed
previous reviews of these games, so I won't post any now. If others
have an opportunity to buy the Supercharger and want reviews, I
will provide them.
