Can anyone confirm some bugs i've seen in Defender?

1. after a hyperspace, a small fragment of you ship is left on the
   screen.
2. after a hyperspace while carrying humanoids, a humanoid is seen
for a short moment 'miles' away from your ship.
3. after carrying all the humanoids to the lowest section of the planet
and planting them, they pop through the top of the screen (roofers).
4. landers in space.
5. your explosion makes the noise of a mutant firing.
6. landers that go through the top of the screen and back through the
   bottom (double-take).
7. smart bomb a pod, and nothing happens to its comtents.
8. plant all ten humanoids back on the planet and the whole game hangs.
9. smart bomb a whole lot of stuff and watch the game do a sytem reset
   (self-test, etc.)

Eugene Jarvis did a wonderful job at programming Defender for Williams
but why did they never see these bugs?
Also, has anybody noticed a similarity in the style of the games Defender,
Stargate, Robotron, and Joust? (I think Eugene is about as prolific as
arcade programmers can get.)
send all replies, death threats, etc. to sdh c/o alice or rabbit at
mh bell.
