Recently I told the strange tale of buying Parker Bros.' Q*bert,
finding it broken, trading it in, and finding the replacement broken
as well. I am happy to report that the third copy did function,
apparently to spec.

At the time, I asked if anyone else had had similar experiences with
cartridges, but there has been absolutely NO response. Given the
general propensity to flame on the net, I have to assume that my
experience was extremely rare. Maybe I should have kept the broken
cartridge(s) -- they may be collector's items.
