He wanted to see all the EM spectrum instead of just visible light
available to those 'gelatinous orbs' his creators gave him. he wanted to
be able to fly through space and feel solar wind and gravity etc.
Then why the hell didnt he just download himself into a raider body, or
customize one, and take off?
there were too many questions left open by that show and the more you
reatch it the more holes appear.
